Overview
Use this service to request modification of an existing Shared Mailbox. A Shared Mailbox is a separate mailbox that multiple users can be given access to and can read and send email messages, e.g. A customer service email provided to external users to submit requests.
Note: A Shared Mailbox is not a distribution list. To request service on a distribution list, please see related services at the bottom of this page.

How we process your request

Process:
After you submit your request, IT will:
- Review the request
- Contact you for additional information, if necessary
- Modify the existing Shared Mailbox
- Send a closeout notification upon resolution
Before you submit a ticket, you will need to:
- Notate the changes to the list of users that will have access to the mailbox
- Please consult with the Shared Mailbox owner before submitting the request
