Adding a Permitted Sender

To add a sender's address or domain to your permitted senders list:
- Click on the Permitted tab in the left-hand pane.
- Click on the+ Add Permitted button. The Add Permitted dialog is displays.
- Type the address or domain into the text box.
- Click on the Add button. The address / domain displays in the list.
- Repeat steps 3 and 4 for other addresses / domains.
You can enter multiple addresses / domain by separating them with a space (e.g. user1@domain.com user2@domain.com domain.co.uk).
- Click on the Permit button.
- For an individual:
- Use the Mimecast tab in Outlook
- In the third column you will see “Managed Senders” (select that)
- These are your choices

- Select Permitted and at the top right-hand side of the page click in this field

- Enter the email address in the Email addresses or domains field and click Add

- The email address will appear in a listing below the field. You will need to click on Permit

- This will add the email address to the Managed Senders/Permitted Senders list in Mimecast
1. To have an email address or domain whitelisted enterprise-wide, you will need to open a TDX support ticket with an assignment to Prod Support Apps to whitelist the email address, domain or add the IP addresses to the correct Mimecast policy.
