Credit Card Profile Not Found
If you receive the error message of
Credit Card Profile Not Found
, there isn’t a credit card terminal associated with that workstation.
First, look at the upper right-hand corner and confirm you see a blue link icon. This confirms you have VIC installed on the workstation.
Next, Click on the User Icon in the bottom left-hand corner of the RecTrac window.
This will display the
Workstation
name. You will need this information to associate the credit card terminal with the appropriate workstation.
Click on the waffle icon in the top left-hand corner of the screen.
Type in the word
profile
in the search bar.
Select
Profile Assignments
from the filtered list of options.
Under
Linked Profiles
in the middle of the screen, look for
WorkStation
and expand the menu by clicking the up-arrow icon.
Scroll through the list of workstation names until you locate your workstation name.
Expand the menu by clicking on the up arrow next to the workstation name.
Confirm the pin pad listed in the profile matches the number printed on the credit card terminal. There should be a white label added with the name which should begin with WRSC
If the incorrect pin pad is listed, drag it from the list and drop it anywhere into the
Available Profiles
box. This will remove the pin pad name from the list.
Under
Available Profiles
, locate the pin pad from the type list. Open the menu and locate the pin pad name that corresponds to the one located at the credit card terminal.
Click and drag the pin pad profile name and drop it on top of the workstation name. You should see a green square indicating it’s good to drop the name in the area.
Confirm that the Credit Card profile is also listed under the workstation. If it isn’t, locate the
Type: Credit Card
from the list under
Available Profiles
.
Click and drag
Pasco PayTrac Retail
and drop it onto the workstation name.
Select Credit Card – Purchase and Credit Card-Gift Card and select Continue.
You may also need to add Touch POS and Drawers to the workstation. Confirm with Parks n Rec which ones are needed for that workstation.
